Financial Support Options

Facilities needed:
      1. Temple facilities
      Renovations to include the statue of Buddha, Thankas, Sutras, An altar, offerings, the Throne and Table.
      2.Library
      We need big Bookshelves, ( Budhas Altar) Books for the library in Tibetan , English, Chinese. These are books on Buddhism, Sutras, general knowledge and cultural interests, and famous peoples biographies. Study desks and chairs.
      3.Student Dorm equipment need beautifying renovations, small altar, Tibetan style beds, Bedding, chairs , desks, stoves, storage boxes for their personal belongings.
      4. Eight Classroom need to be equipment with Blackboards, desks, chairs, books and other teaching equipment for science classes etc.       5.Teachers room: Beds, Cupboards, desks, chairs, Hot water filter/provider
      6. For the dining rooms we need tables , chairs, crockery, cutlery, Hot water cisterns
And a big stove.
      7. Kitchen we need pots, Pans, stove for cooking, Fuel for heating the dorm rooms, class rooms, Kitchen and dorms.
      8. Computer center. We need 30 computers, desks, chairs
And other equipment.
      9. Office; desks, phone, fax, chairs,
      10. Store rooms, All kinds of shelves and storage facilities.
      11. Utilities: Drinking water, Pipes, Cables,
      12. Public toilets; 4 Buildings with each 8 toilets

      14. Girls school and nunnery all the usual set up or dorms, classrooms and diningroom.

      Estimated Budget for 2008 The estimated cost for 1 square meter is 1160 RMB , monthly expenses for the students will be 400, The monthly salary for one teacher is 1300.- RMB per month. The salary for 1 cook and other staff is 600 per month each.
      We have to increase our present facilities to 6500 square meters in order to host a library, STUDENT DORMITORIES, dining room, staffrooms, Toilet and bathroom facilities, store rooms and a temple The estimated cost for 1 square meter is 1160 RMB , The total is 7540000 RMB.
      The running expenses are:
      Monthly expenses for the students will be 400 RMB,
The monthly salary for one teacher is 1300.- RMB per month.
The salary for 1 cook and other staff is 600 per month each.
For any of the above items you may designate your donations.
      Furthermore you may take up a sponsorship and support one or more of the students, or teachers for a minimum of 1 year. There is the possibility to get proper contact with the student (s) / teacher(s) you sponsor. We will send you a photograph and you may write to them and they will write back to you(via translation). Thus you can follow their progress and be more involved in their lives.
