The design of the building will be two stories and a courtyard and will incorporate modern elements with traditional tibetan architecture. To accommodate those whose homes are at significant distances from the school, the school will provide dormitory rooms for both students and teachers. in addition, the school will contain a dining hall and kitchen,a canteen, separate washrooms and toilets, 16 classrooms, an administrative office, a temple,and two extra rooms that will provide space for a library and computer lab for the future.

    Through the Snowland Education Development Project, we would like to offer a remedy to the current crisis in education and the consequent well-being of  Tibetan people of China . In recent years, the ability to produce sustainable income from traditional lifestyles has diminished. For rural Tibetans, this means it has become difficult, if not impossible, to enter, much less compete in a modern job market. The World Bank states adult literacy is 38% for Tibetan men and 13% for Tibetan women in Tibet . The primary reason for this is the lack of access to quality education and due to the unavailability of schools.

    By constructing a local school that provides not only a quality general education, but also opportunities for advanced learning, we can help to optimize a person's chance:

> to acquire a job, become self- sufficient, and be happy.

> enable, them in turn, to help other Tibetan people to be satisfied.

> to instill in learners Tibetan cultural values;

> to prepare and assist those who are wanting to increase their knowledge through further training in commercial and/or technical professions.
